Back to Books Bash: Saturday, August 27th, starting at 5:00 p.m. bring your family and join us for a BBQ cookout and poolside fun.  Chef Paul will be grilling up a tasty dinner for you to enjoy poolside, under the pergola or inside where it's cool. On the menu: BBQ pork ribs, burgers, chicken, brats, Italian sausage, hotdogs, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, corn on the cob, peach and apple cobbler.  Adults~ $13.99, Children 3-13~ $9.99, Children 2 and under~ no charge.  Please call 580.475.0075 x214 to sign up so Chef Paul can plan and prepare accordingly.

Tuesday Evening Ladies Night: Tuesday, August 30th, 6:00 p.m.  When weather is conducive to having fun and playing golf we will have a ladies league and play golf scrambling for two hours.  When temperatures are so hot we are setting new record highs almost daily we will bring the fun indoors and meet for food and drinks, skipping the golf.  This is a great way to meet some new friends and catch up with old friends!  Please call 580.475.0075 to sign up each week.

Book Club: Thursday, September 1st, meet at noon in the Prairie House for lunch and book discussion.  Our book selection this month is The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley.  $15 for lunch.  Please register online or with Liz- 580.475.0075 x203 or lwatts@territorygolf.com.  New faces are always welcome and encouraged to attend Book Club.

Labor Day Weekend Holiday Schedule: Monday, September 5th, The Territory will be open; Tuesday, September 6th, The Territory will be closed.

The Territory Cup:  September 9th - 11th.  Thursday, September 8th- pairing party dinner at 6:30 p.m.  Friday- Foursome matches, shotgun start at 1:00 p.m.  Saturday- Fourball matches, tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. Sunday- Individual Matches- tee times starting at 8:30 a.m. The field is full.

Kid's Cooking Class: Sunday, September 11th, 3:00 p.m.  This time we are making then decorating cupcakes!  Kids will get to enjoy the hands-on fun of mixing the ingredients as Chef Paul leads them through the steps then while their cupcakes are baking we will decorate cupcakes Chef Paul will have already baked.  Kids will each take home 4 cupcakes- two they baked and two they decorated.  $15 per child.  Due to the hands on nature of this class, space is limited to the first 20 kids to sign up.  Please sign up with Liz- 580.475.0075 x203 or lwatts@territorygolf.com.

Lunch and Learn:  TODAY! Friday, August 5th, meet at noon for lunch with Tim Johnson (Director of Operations) and Brad Babek (Golf Course Superintendent).  You will have a chance to ask questions, receive an update on various happenings at The Territory and learn more about the unique role and function of the Turf Care Center and department managed by Brad Babek.  Today's lunch is full; please watch for more Lunch and Learns to be scheduled.  Each Lunch and Learn will include Tim and a different member of his staff.

Flick 'n Float: TONIGHT! Friday, August 5th, show time: 9:15 p.m.(or when the sun goes down).  Feature Flick:  Megamind (PG).  Bring the kids to watch the last dive in movie for the season poolside on our giant, inflatable movie screen.  Admission: $5.  Popcorn provided; additional concessions (ice cream, candy bars, soft drinks and regular menu items) available to purchase.  Register online or with Liz- 580.475.0075 x203 or lwatts@territorygolf.com.

9 & Wine: Thursday, August 18th, tee off at 6:00 p.m. Couples scramble with a focus on having fun!  Your golf professionals mix it up with a new fun format each time, making this a good time for everyone!  This is a great way to get to know your fellow Members.  Food and drink stations set up on the course and prizes will be awarded following play.  $50 entry per couple.
